Week 1 Blog Assignment
Bryce Martin-Grud Desma 9 3/30/22 Week 1 Blog Assignment As a freshmen coming into UCLA I was very nervous. I didn't know what to expect. I play baseball as well and have had the lucky privilege to come here and continue my athletic career as well as get an amazing education. I believe that is the main idea that makes me nervous, just being forced to learn how to manage it all and get everything done on time. I think that coming in here and seeing the students who do not play sports it's a lot different than the kids who do. I feel like some of the normal students think that we get everything handed to us and its just really not the case at all. We have to really work hard and the grind never stops. They think that we get so much help academically which we is not wrong but at the same time the same help we get is offered to the normal students if they were to just reach out to the peer learning service.
